First you'll want to swap some ETH or BTC to $HYPE. $HYPE is the native gas token on HyperCore/HyperEVM. HyperEVM is where all the dapps on HyperLiquid reside. HyperCore is where the core dapps (controlled by the HyperLiquid team) live.
Once you have some $HYPE on HyperEVM, you can send some to HyperCore and vice versa. You'll want at least 10-20 $HYPE to get some exposure to the $HYPE seasonal airdrop itself.
Use relay.link to get some $HYPE for gas fees, staking to a HyperLiquid validator, and some future interactions. Relay utilizes LayerZero under the hood so it could also make you eligible for a future $ZRO airdrop. For this example, we'll move 15 HYPE onto HyperCore and keep the remaining 20 on HyperEVM
While you're here, if you have WBTC or ETH/ETH-derivatives (eg. WETH, weETH, etc.) on an Ethereum L2 chain, you can swap it for $UBTC/$UETH on HyperEVM. $UBTC/$UETH are wrapped versions on HyperLiquid.
Next you'll want to send some ETH or BTC to HyperCore (HyperLiquid's main network). We recommend you do this using the official HyperCore dapp just in case depositing from there is a factor in receiving an airdrop.
Use the official HyperLiquid core link https://app.hyperliquid.xyz/join/NVS88 to signup.
Once you've clicked join, you should see a button that says "Deposit" towards the bottom right of the window. In the "Deposit Chain" dropdown, select "Ethereum" or "Bitcoin".
A deposit address will appear. Copy it hitting the copy button next to the address, and send your ETH or BTC to that address.
If you don't have any native $ETH on Ethereum or BTC on Bitcoin to deposit, you can skip this step.
You should have some $HYPE from step one in HyperEVM. You can move some over to HyperCore by clicking the "Transfer to/from EVM" button next to $HYPE under your Balances.
Once you hit confirm, you should have 15 HYPE in your HyperCore balance. This will show up under "Available Balance".
Now go to "Staking" in the top menu of the screen.
Now click the "Spot to Staking Balance Transfer" button. Put in your amount (eg. 12 $HYPE), leave a little bit for future gas fees. Then hit "Transfer".
After you have some $HYPE in your staking balance, hit the "Stake Tokens" button. Hit "MAX" on the popup screen, and select a validator of your choice. Then hit "Confirm".
Congrats! You are now staking some $HYPE on HyperLiquid.
You now have some $HYPE on HyperCore and HyperEVM. You should also by now have some $UETH and possibly some $UBTC in your HyperEVM wallet as well. We're ready to explore some dapps!
The first dapp we'll explore is HypurrFi.

Hypurr.fi has a points system. The more you deposit, the more you'll earn from a potential airdrop. Connect your wallet, and scroll down on the dashboard.
When you see your balance of $UETH or $UBTC, you can hit the "Deposit" button next to it. It is best to split your $UETH and $UBTC across multiple projects to reduce risk and increase your airdrop chances. I would do around 1/5th of your $UETH for now. After you've entered in your amount, hit Approve/Deposit and confirm with your wallet.
Navigate to the https://app.hypurr.fi/points/earn page (or hit the Points button in the left hand menu). You'll see what activities you can do to maximize your potential airdrop here for HypurrFi points. Keep note of this for future interactions. We'll be moving onto the next dapp.
On HyperLend, you can also deposit $UETH. Use the https://app.hyperlend.finance/?ref=K0IF475IMY link.
Scroll down until you see UETH and hit "Supply". Similar process to the last dapp. Approve/Supply roughly the same amount of ETH as you did previously.
You can monitor your position in terms of points on the Points page of HyperLend.
On HyperBeat, you can deposit $UBTC and hit multiple protocols at once. Use the https://app.hyperbeat.org/earn link.
You'll see the vault: HyperBeat Ultra UBTC. Click on that row. Similar process to the last dapp. Hit Deposit, your amount of $UBTC, and hit "Deposit" one last time.
Take note that withdrawals aren't immediate on this platform. But you'll be receiving rewards in multiple protocols.
On HyperSwap, you can stake $HYPE or provide $UETH and $cmETH as a liquidity pair for gaining points.

To provide liquidity, you can single side deposit your UETH at this link. Click through the steps, full range is fine. Then single side zap your UETH, select your amount, and confirm.
You can also stake some $HYPE using the https://app.hyperswap.exchange/#/stake page as well which is recommended. I would do a few $HYPE in each of the derivative staked HYPE assets.

Harmonix.fi will be opening a deposit vault where it will farm multiple protocols for you. These potential airdrops are expected to hit later this year (think October-December time frame).
